2021 Highmark Walk for a Healthy Community

Due to COVID-19 concerns, the 2021 Highmark Walks for a Healthy Community, will once again be online fundraisers and virtual walks.

A virtual walk is a real walk, but it's on your terms. Any time until July 15, you choose how and when to walk (treadmill, park, trail, or around the neighborhood). You can also pick the time of when you start and stop and the distance.

Anyone in Pennsylvania can participate. Support BIAPA through the teams based in the Lehigh Valley and Pittsburgh.

Follow this link for details on how to participate in the 2021 Highmark Walk for a Healthy Community while building awareness about brain injury and supporting BIAPA.

The BIAPA Pop-Up Support Group has been so successful that it's no longer a 'pop-up'. It's now a regularly scheduled group and it will continue to meet through Zoom indefinitely! THe group will meet on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 5:00 PM. The next meeting is on May 20th.

We send a link to the meeting to those on our distribution list each month, as well as a reminder the day of the meeting. If you would like to be included in the distribution list, please send a message to us at survivorsupport@biapa.org. All are welcome!

The May meeting is scheduled for May 20th at 5:00 PM. Special guest Dr. Michael Keesler will discuss "Let's Talk Mental Health".
